The other day, all the girls in my class were writing in their journals about watermelons. I HATE watermelons! I mean, Come on! What’s the big deal with an oversized fruit! An orange is a good fruit! Yeah, I went there! You know, I was making fun of the girls who were writing about watermelons, when I ended up writing about watermelons. Huh. This has been another session with laney’s brain.

Hi!!!! My name is Laney as you can see. I still can’t believe it but I made cheerleader!! I’ll tell you all the girls in my class who made it. Me, Felicia, Morgan, Cassie, and Jaqueline.

This Thursday is the Solo and Ensamble Music Festival. I’m really excited about it! My solo is seriously cool. I play it on the xylaphone which is one of my favorate instruments. The peice is called Hunter’s Chorus.

I like to shop, do gymnastics, have sleepovers, and play sports. Except basketball, I hate basketball!!!! I don’t really see the fun in putting a ball through a hoop!!! Any way I root for the Texas Longhorns who rock!!!! I play precussion which is really fun.
